Compete Rolls Out ‘Attention-Based’ Web Metrics - tells the world how much time you waste on myspace.

Compete has added time/attention statistics to their site reporting parameters, giving insight beyond the normal ‘page view’ wall. By tracking time spent on a page site owners get a much more in depth understanding of how users view their sites. Of course this information is available in much more depth in ECMS’s Web Analytics and Behavioral Analysis services, but the Compete data allows marketers to see how much time users spend on other websites as well. With the recent troubles dealt to statsaholic by alexa, this functionality couldn’t come at a better time for Compete.
